A brand that has earned the absolute trust of clothing lovers.SCYE. opened a directly managed store, Scye Mercantile, this summer.
The "SAI MERCANTILE" line is a series that can only be purchased here, and now a zipper clutch bag in bridle leather with a three-dimensional form and a simple brand logo stamped as an accent is to be released.
The leather is finished using a technique called "wet form" (or "squeezing technique"), which utilizes the plasticity of leather to form a three-dimensional shape by placing the wet leather in a mold.
This technique was often used for camera cases in the old days, but it seems to be a rare technique nowadays due to the decrease in the number of craftsmen.
It is available in two colors, black and tan, in two sizes, SIZE M (260mm × 175mm) and SIZE S (150mm × 105mm). We are looking forward to seeing the changes over time that will be etched by continued use of this item.
