Well, the winter season is here . . and we at HOUYHNHNM are in the mood for skiing. . However, we are too busy with our daily work to go to the snowy mountains. That is why we would like to introduce our solo exhibition "Ski Alpinism," which will open on December 22 (Fri.).
This event is organized by Shoko Matsuoka, a mountain ski photographer. The exhibition will feature photographs taken by leading skiers and snowboarders in Japan, focusing on rare or first human-entered routes in mountain skiing, such as Tanigawa-dake Manaitagura, Okuhotaka-dake West Face Direct, Yagatake East Face Face, and Nishimata Oku-wall.
A fascinating exhibition of photographs of a world yet to be seen and new lines that will accelerate your sweltering spirit. Why not visit before you visit the snowy mountains?
