KANDYTOWN, the 16-member HIP HOP crew that represents the city of Tokyo, has signed its core rapper YOUNG JUJU to a major solo deal with Sony Music Labels, making him the first in the group to do so.

At the same time, he changed his name from YOUNG JUJU to KEIJU as YOUNG JUJU, which is based on his real name. To celebrate the major launch, "KEIJU as YOUNG JUJU Presents "7 Seconds" Supported by PIGALLE" will be held with the cooperation of PIGALLE.
The event, featuring KANDYTOWN and other special guests, symbolizes the next era of Tokyo hip-hop. The title "7 Seconds" is inspired by the basketball term "7 Seconds," which means "a quick play to score two points within seven seconds," and the double meaning of the song "7 Seconds," which is about the first seven seconds after a newborn baby comes into the world. The title "7 Seconds" is inspired by the song of the same name by Youssou N'Dour, an African singer who sings about the first seven seconds of a newborn baby's life.
