Joe Cruz is known for his use of black-and-white photography and low-tech materials such as oil pastels. He has themed his creations around different elements such as portraiture, expressionism, sexuality, gender, and beauty, creating works that have a powerful, centripetal force that grabs the viewer's heart and mind.
This exhibition will be his first solo show in Asia, and will feature over 100 original artworks and oversized prints, and he will be visiting Japan for the opening party on Thursday, April 26.
