A kids' fashion magazine with the philosophy of "living richly and beautifully with children".Milk Japon (MilK JAPON)Japonism," an exhibition of photographs by photographers Osamu Yokonami and Kotori Kawashima, will open on Friday, July 20.
This photo exhibition is based on a long story created by both artists for the "Japonism Special" in "MilK JAPON magazine No.36".
Osamu Yokonami expresses universal and unique Japanese values. The works on display capture the beauty that exists in today's Japanese girls and in good old Japan.
On the other hand, the concept of Kotori Kawashima's work is Japan as seen through the eyes of foreign children. The unique atmosphere and emotions of the children are captured, as if between reality and a dream.
At the exhibition, a limited number of copies of a special edition photobook, re-edited from the story written by Osamu Yokonami, will be available for purchase. What is the universal view of Japan as perceived by one of Japan's leading photographers? Don't miss it!
