. Born in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture in 1958. Graduated from the Department of Imaging Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chiba University. Author of "Black Groove" (1999), "Alternative Music" (2009), and "Soul Flower Union: Unraveling Song Ruts" (2014). He is currently writing a series of articles, "A Distant View with Sound," for the Artes electronic edition.
