I would like to introduce a five-member jazz band that advocates "jazz you can dance to.TRI4TH. Since his debut in 2009, he has been active both in Japan and abroad, appearing in the musical "Talk Like Singing," written by Koki Mitani, and participating in major jazz festivals in Europe. . He has been highly acclaimed for his avant-garde musicality, which incorporates elements of bass music, ska, and rock based on jazz, and has won the New Star Award at the annual JAZZ JAPAN AWARD.
They are the newest assassins of the jazz scene, and their full album "ANTHOLOGY" will be released on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, on SME Records.
In addition to self-released retakes of their classic live songs from their 12 years of activity, the new album is a compilation of soulful new songs that fully express the "danceable jazz" that has become synonymous with the band, making it a best-of album, so to speak.
The jacket illustration for this album was created by Shuntaro Takeuchi, who drew the cover of the latest issue of Huinum Unplugged, which was recently released. One of the highlights of the album is the transformation of the members' artist photos into pop and humorous illustrations.
TRI4TH embodies a new genre of jazz, a contemporary update of the classic image of jazz, and will begin a six-stop tour of Japan on November 3 (Sat), so why not experience their powerful sound at a venue first hand?
