The impact of the Internet on the music scene is immeasurable. Connecting to streaming services has made it easier to encounter a variety of music. However, it is also true that if this becomes routine, the joy and excitement of discovering new music fades away.
In this context, I would like to introduce classical music to discerning listeners. In Frankfurt, Germany, an event called "Yellow Lounge," in which classical music is played not in a concert hall but in a club, is being held, and the number of listeners is gradually increasing.
The event is hosted by Deutsche Grammophon, the world's oldest label founded in 1898 by Emil Berliner, the inventor of the disc record. The label is known as a treasure trove of masterpieces and continues to lead the classical music world by releasing works by young top artists.

The label's classic recordings will now be mixed by conductor and classical DJ Aoi Mizuno. The CD "Millennials -We Will Classic You-" was originally released on CD this fall, and now it is being released on cassette tape.
What is exciting is that under the supervision of "BEAMS T", collaboration T's with artists will also be sold at the same time. The unique illustration of Beethoven playing DJ is obvious from the touch, and was newly drawn by Yu Nagaba.

The "Leiji Matsumoto Selection/Karajan Best of the Best," in which manga artist Leiji Matsumoto selected masterpieces and famous performances by Herbert von Karajan, the conductor known as "the king of the music world," is also available on cassette tape.
This item will also be released together with a fan favorite, a print of a nostalgic Karajan manga drawing by Leiji Matsumoto from "Immortal Allegretto," a collection of recopal live comics released in 1979, under the supervision of "BEAMS T".
All items will be available from December 5 (Wed.) T-shirts can be purchased at BEAMS T, but you'll want to get them along with the cassette tapes anyway.
The sets will be available only at waltz in Nakameguro, a Nakameguro-based cassette tape culture outlet. Both titles are limited to 120 sets, so we recommend that you get there early or visit the online store.
