This technical shell incorporates THE NORTH FACE's iconic color blocking design. It is made of 3-layer 70D ripstop material , with a tricot backer on the skin surface. The item incorporates a pattern design that prevents the hem from coming up when the arms are raised, and is designed for winter activities ranging from core activities such as ice climbing to snow hiking where perspiration can occur even in low temperatures. Ventilation is also provided at the sides.

Inner Insulated Jacket. The outer fabric is 12D temporary twisted nylon with a polyurethane coating on the reverse side to make it water repellent, so it is designed to be worn as an inner layer, but can be used as an outer layer in some snow or rain. In sweat-inducing situations such as ice climbing and snow hiking, a synthetic fiber padding is used, which is more resistant to wetness than down, and Thermoball Pro, in which Aerogel is kneaded into the padding, provides strong insulation from the outside air and improved heat retention.

The three-dimensional pattern allows the garment to follow the leg lifts in the field. . The hem opening has a detachable snow cuff.
