TACOMA FUJI RECORDS, a T-shirt label that works hand in hand with various artists in Japan and abroad to create conceptual products, has produced a pair of boots in collaboration with Danner, an American boot brand. Just like the witty graphics on the T-shirts, TACOMA FUJI RECORDS has created a pair of boots with a quirkiness that is uniquely TACOMA FUJI RECORDS.
These boots were designed based on a playful fictional story. The model name "THE WORKHORSE" comes from the name of the band that appears in the story. The most striking feature of this special order is the chocolate mint coloring.

The base model is the new standard model "Danner Field" from "Danner". Of course, the GORE-TEX® booties are equipped, so you can wear them in bad weather without worry. The sole is equipped with a Vibram® cletter lift for excellent grip. The GORE-TEX® bootie promises comfort for everyday wear in the city as well as in outdoor fields such as trails and camping.
The side panels are covered with mint-colored leather. The outside is covered with outer leather and the inside with suede. Although the color is the same, the difference in the texture of the leather makes it look slightly different on the inside and outside of the boot.
The Danner and Tacomahuji Records logos will be engraved on the tongue and the "THE WORKHORSE" logo, the theme of this special order, will be engraved on the heel counter.
At first glance, the coloring may seem gaudy, but perhaps it is the nostalgia of "Danner" that brings it all together. The individuality of "Tacoma Fuji Records" stands out in the classically designed "Danner Field.
In addition to these special-order boots, "THE WORKHORSE" will also offer T-shirts, caps, and tote bags, starting with pre-sales at BEAMS T HARAJUKU on April 19 (Fri.) and at all stores that carry them from the following day, the 20th (Sun.). It is expected to sell out quickly, so if you are interested, it would be best to get your hands on it as soon as possible.
