The event is organized by SEE SEE, a lifestyle brand that combines the traditional Shizuoka craft of hewn wood (a traditional art of refining circular vessels by shaping wood on a wheel or lathe) with street culture. The mellow atmosphere reminiscent of the West Coast and the genre-less market booths attract a wide range of visitors.
This year marks the fourth YES GOOD MARKET. The event has been held in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, by the sea, but this time it will be held at Numazu-Aitaka Regional Park in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Previously, the event was a daytime event, but this year, a camp site will be set up within the venue for a fresh start, allowing visitors to enjoy the "YES GOOD MARKET" for two days.
The contents have been dramatically updated since last year, and there is plenty to see. Of particular note are the galleries by artists who have made their names in various scenes. In addition to HOUYHNHNM's well-known artists such as Ryuji Kamiyama, Yusuke Hanai, Jerry Ukai, NAIJEL GRAPH, and Aimi Odawara, Russ Pope, a leading figure in skate art, will participate from overseas. The works of these splendid members will be exhibited and sold at the exhibition.
The market booths will feature more than 30 stores, including BOTANIZE, 1LDK, and FREAK'S STORE. In addition, the food booths will be lined with many highly specialized stores that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages. And at the music booths, which are indispensable for outdoor events, artists such as DJ MURO and DJ JIN of Lime Star will create a comfortable sound and space.
