Before we begin, let's start with a comment from Mr. Asakura, the designer of "Hobo," about the creation of the product.

When I went camping with the black-colored "TACHYON" shoes I made last time, I didn't have any discomfort from getting my feet wet because they are equipped with Danner® Dry, but there were many situations where I had to take them on and off in and out of the tent, and I felt stressed, so I thought about ways to make them better in this regard. However, I felt stressed in many situations where I had to put on and take off the shoes in and out of the tent.
This time, the speed lacing eyelets have been changed from one to two to make them easier to put on and take off, and elastic laces with reflector thread woven into them are included to make it easier to locate them in the dark when a light or other object strikes them. The three previous collaborations with "TACHYON" have been expressed with beige-colored outsoles, but this time the midsole is also the same color, and the color is darker than the beige of the main body to express dry grass and trees, with an awareness of shading. (Some parts are omitted.)

. This time, the TACHYON has been updated based on real-world experience in terms of wearability and visibility. The biggest point is the addition of "Danner® Dry," a waterproof and breathable membrane, to the original "TACHYON" features such as the pentagonal lug pattern on the outsole, and the eyelets have been arranged into one to reduce the stress of putting on and taking off the shoes.

The EVA midsole with excellent cushioning and the highly stable cup insole are included throughout, making it a versatile and tough pair that can be utilized both outdoors and in the city.
