Designer Yuichi Kuroda's euphoric music often leads directly to his inspiration.Rudd MusicianThe theme for the Fall/Winter 2016-17 season is "Unknown Anarchism". The idea of "Unknown Anarchism" came from immersing himself in the noisy music of the American bands Sightings and Wolf Eyes, and the improvisations of Derek Bailey in the UK.
The characteristic feature of this collection is that it expresses both extremes of big silhouettes and tight silhouettes in a single collection. Coats and swing tops with a loose, drop-shoulder fit, boned pants that are slim below the knee and oversized above the knee, and shirt blousons that give the wearer an airy silhouette at the back are among the items in the collection.
Also available are T-shirts printed with photographs of British punk icons Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten. Their huge faces are striking, and were photographed by photographer Dennis Morris. Selected photos were newly scanned from masters at the highest quality to create this high-impact T-shirt. Some of them have unfocused eyes, which is exactly reminiscent of the theme of this collection. The T-shirts will be available starting in July.
