Even just in Tokyo, the number of galleries has increased dramatically over the past few years. The activities of artists, illustrators, and other creators have become more prominent, and there are many interesting exhibitions taking place here and there every week. Compared to the past, art has definitely become more accessible. I think this is a good trend.
The fan art exhibition "Our S.W. Exhibition" to be held at "CASE B" in Shibuya this week from Friday, the 24th to Sunday, the 26th, also looks like a somewhat interesting exhibit, so we will announce it here.
The organizers, illustrators Hisayuki Hiranuma and Kusaki Tadanaka, have called together a group of expressive people whom they would like to ask to participate now. The lineup was truly impressive, including illustrators, ceramic artists, filmmakers, leather craftsmen, and many others, such as Auto Moai, Ryuji Kamiyama, Koichiro Takagi, Tonbo Sensei, SUGI, Gramas, Mayumi Yamase, Yasumasa Yanai, Oswald Kato, and many more. Names of creators who are related to those in Finam can also be seen here and there.
Under the theme of "Our S.W.," each person expressed "S.W." as he or she wished. What exactly is "S.W."? Please come to the venue to find out the answer. A pleasant surprise is surely waiting for you. Also, the proceeds from this exhibition will be donated for the relief efforts for Typhoon No. 19 in 2019. Isn't it great to be able to enjoy art and contribute to society at the same time?
