As we previously reported here.This year, the brand's anniversary year, "THE 1460 REMASTERED," a project that will present brand collaborations for 12 consecutive months throughout the year, has been launched.

The relationship between the two brands, which share a commonality of being strongly inspired by music, art, and subcultures, has been in existence for a whopping 10 years! This collaborative model is a pair reminiscent of the customized styles of the New Romantic/punk club scene of the late 70s, with smooth leather uppers and anarchistic nickel ring decorations reminiscent of punk styles.

The placement of the rings is a tribute to Raf Simons' roots in mid-century furniture. As proof of the collaboration, the Dr. Martens x Raf Simons logo was embossed on the ankle cuff, and both names were also marked on the insole.
