Born in an area rich in natural beauty, Lucy and Luke Meyer, creative directors of the couple, who are familiar with skiing, snowboarding, and trekking, have always wanted to create a world of their own, and they are proud to present a collection of works that are hard to match.
The first is a garment-dyed set-up made of Cordura nylon, which is said to be seven times stronger than ordinary nylon. By opening the zipper, the blouson transforms into short sleeves and the pants into half pants.
The second is a shirt tailored in traditional Japanese habutae fabric (64% nylon, 36% silk). Compared to regular plain weave, this fabric is woven with two thin warp threads, making it more supple and lustrous. The nylon blend adds lightweight and water repellency, and the packaway design allows the shirt to be stowed in a back pocket.
. The last one is denim made of organic cotton colored with natural dyes. The fabric, made in Okayama Prefecture, has been a staple from the 19FW collection, and this season, a short sleeve version was added to the lineup.
Another virtue of this collection, which is a perfect fusion of the Mayers' aesthetic sense and functionality, is that almost all of the items are unisex. This is an appropriate choice for the age of diversity.
