First in Kansai. Porter Classic's directly-managed store opens in Kyoto.

PORTER CLASSIC" is a brand that pursues the concept of "world-class standards" with a focus on "Made in Japan," and pursues manufacturing that will be loved by the next generation, and even our grandchildren. Porter Classic" is the first directly-managed store in the Kansai area. Porter Classic Kyoto," the first directly managed store in the Kansai area, will open on March 10.

Porter Classic Kyoto" is an entirely renovated two-story townhouse with a facade that makes passersby stop in their tracks and a calm and elegant black exterior. The first floor features the brand's flagship "PC KENDO" and "PC SASHIKO" items, as well as a full line of new items for spring/summer 2020, and the "NEWTONBAG" bag, which uses Showa Nishikawa's "muatsu" strap that was launched in 2018 to make luggage feel lighter. In addition, at the back of the first floor, there is a courtyard where customers can relax and unwind, and various workshops and events are scheduled to be held in the future.

On the second floor, there is an evolving museum with changing exhibits, a library with books and materials that form "Porter Classic," and an atelier where visitors can catch a glimpse of the process of the seamstresses' craftsmanship. The museum is designed to allow visitors to experience the brand's worldview through all five senses.

On March 10, the first day of the opening, the Kyoto store will not only sell items exclusive to the Kyoto store, but will also sell a new bakery called "Bakery of Legend" in Uji, Kyoto.arbor (arbour, bower)The "Rusk" rusks will be distributed on the weekend of the 14th and 15th, and bread will be distributed on the weekend of the 14th and 15th (until all the bread is gone).
