Ohmine Shuzou, a sake brewery in Mine City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, has collaborated with Kosuke Kawamura, one of the hottest artists of the moment, through an exhibition at the opening of Shibuya PARCO, solo exhibitions overseas, and collaborations with various brands. The spring limited collection "Ohmine 3 Grains Special Aizan" will go on sale on March 14.

The Omine Sake Brewery, which was revived in 2010 after more than 50 years of dormancy, has continued to communicate its presence as a premium Japanese sake brewery in new ways not seen before, including collaborations with various artists and brands based on the basic philosophy of "respecting classic recipes while creating sake that our predecessors could not achieve. When it was first revived 10 years ago, there were few suppliers willing to sell sake rice to unknown sake breweries, and it took about eight years to obtain the Aizan rice used for this limited collection, "Daimine 3 Grain Special Aizan".

The spring collection "Omine 3 Grains Special Aizan" is based on the theme of renewing these old industry systems, and was creatively designed by artist Kosuke Kawamura. For the sake bottle design, the iconic rice grain logo of Omine Sake Brewery was reconstructed with Kawamura's signature collage, and a new rice grain logo was placed to express the renewal. Omine Sake Brewery, which cherishes good old Japan and takes on the challenge of making innovative sake, and Kosuke Kawamura, whose unique world view and methods have gained popularity both in Japan and abroad, have completed a special collaboration collection for the spring season that brings out the best of both of them.
