Samuel was born in Argentina in 1908. Growing up in a family that traded in precious stones, Samuel became fascinated with pearls. He painstakingly perfected a pinkish cream-colored pearl, which became known to connoisseurs as "Fred's Color. Samuel's talent as a jeweler blossomed, and his timeless and unconventional design work using curves fascinated people, and he came to be known as the "creator of modern jewelry".
One of the most representative collections of the prestigious French watchmaker is "Force 10," which was created in 1966. The "Force 10" collection has its roots in a bracelet made by the eldest son of a European sailing champion for his beloved wife, and was inspired by yacht shackles and cables.
