1LDK's base of interest was not his creations themselves, but what he wears when he creates. The "Tsunagi," his dye-soaked work clothes that he has worn for all of his past collections, was used as the basis for 1LDK. 1LDK felt the philosophy of the brand itself very strongly in these "tsunagi" made in the 60's in the former East Germany.

This specially made tuna features the tough texture of military canvas dyed in a deep olive color, which is exactly the kind of fabric that he looks forward to seeing change over time, as it does in his collection.
