Sustainability is becoming an inseparable part of our daily lives, as exemplified by the plastic bag fee that began in July. Sneakers are no exception.
As if in response to this social trend, a remastered, eco-friendly version of "Janoski," one of the flagship products of the skateboard line "NIKE SB," will be released.
The "Janoski" has transcended the boundaries of skate shoes and has now become a standard model loved by many. This time, the minimalist design has been retained, and waste and recycled materials from the production process have been used throughout.
The contrast between the white body and the gum sole is eye-catching in this edition. Of particular note is the upper.
The back side of "fly leather" originally developed by our company is used to express a suede-like texture. This material, which at first glance appears to be ordinary leather, is surprisingly made by reusing scraps of leather.
In addition, only enough yarn was used to create the swoosh, resulting in a different look. This is a design that shows Nike's sense of arrangement and environmental friendliness coexisting.
No detail has been spared, including the use of recycled materials for laces and sockliners.
This smart pair will be available on the official online site and the NIKE App from September 7 (Mon.).
