As art is increasingly moving online, services for purchasing artwork over the Internet are beginning to appear here and there.
The online gallery site "Left Apartment (3LFTN apartment)," which will open on October 29 (Thu.), is one such example. The lineup will include works by street artists and other artists whose originality can only be found here.
In conjunction with the opening, "Left Apartment" has prepared a real event. Four artists, COOK, MHAK as Masahiro Akutagawa, yoshi47, and HUMAN ROBOT TOYS, will hold solo exhibitions at "offs gallery" in Harajuku.

Born in Osaka and based in Los Angeles, graffiti artist COOK is the only Japanese member of the DISSIZIT! brand, which is led by graffiti master Aussie Slick.
His activities are diverse, including providing artwork for apparel brands and musicians in Japan and abroad. In 2011, he created the official graffiti art for the theatrical version of "Evangelion".
MHAK, a painter, considers painting as a part of interior design and creates mainly wall paintings with the theme of "coexistence with living space".
He has exhibited his works not only in Japan but also in various cities around the world, including the United States, Australia, Italy, and Argentina, and has attracted the attention of collectors in Japan and abroad.
yoshi47, known as a messenger in San Francisco, spends his days surfing and painting at his base in Irago, Aichi Prefecture, while holding group and solo exhibitions around the world.
HUMAN ROBOT TOYS is a prototype maker of original toys and figures from manga and anime. The company has also created prototypes for manga figures that are well-known to all Japanese people.
In addition to the exhibit of works, special rugs made especially for this event will be available for order. In addition, COOK and yoshi47 will hold a live painting session on Sunday, November 8 at 3:00 pm.
