A high school girl commits suicide in a strange land; adults march in front of the Diet. Haruko and Kenichi live in Tokyo, Japan, in the 21st century, in a world that is a world connected to the news coming from the TV.

The film presented here is a story of these women struggling to find where their existence and emotions lie in an age where the same events are mass-produced.

Based on the manga "Diorama Boy Panorama Girl" by Kyoko Okazaki, a manga artist who expresses the unshapeable pain of youth. Director Natsuki Seta, well-known for her film "Parks" and others, took the megaphone for this film. The film stars Anna Yamada and Hitoshi Suzuki, two of the best young actors in Japan, and is brought back to life in the form of a movie.

~Story ~.
Shibuya Haruko, 16, is a flat, ordinary high school student living in Tokyo. One night, she falls in love at first sight with Kenichi Kanagawa, who is lying on a bridge. While Haruko is excited about the "love of the century," the serious and quiet Kenichi impulsively quits school. Kenichi is also infatuated with Mayumi, a girl he picked up on the spur of the moment who has a dangerous scent. Where will their parallel romance lead them?

One day, they are connected by a small dot. However, each of them is moving in a different story in a different world line.

Haruko is spending a blazing youth with her high school friends, but she feels a lack of something, and enters the unknown world. Haruko's expression changes as she learns to feel unknown emotions. It makes us think about the violence of the act of someone feeling for someone else.

Meanwhile, Kenichi, who quit school on impulse, searches for someone who will seek him out and meets Mayumi, a college student. As he becomes absorbed in her life, he is touched by the pain she carries and begins to realize the value of human beings.

As in the original work, the words of the main characters have a mysterious weight (lightness) in them. Some of them are words that Kyoko Okazaki wanted to thrust at the society of the time (the 1980s), some are quotations from famous passages, and some seem to have been uttered by the actors themselves. Please pay attention to the dialogue, which makes you want to scoop it up one by one.
