HIRO SUGIYAMA releases a limited edition book of his large volume of drawings, "Drawing Leads to Another Dimension 1995-2020". A solo exhibition of original drawings will also be held.

Continuation is the most difficult thing for a person to do. Even if it is something you love to do, to do the daily routine day in and day out may be the very reason why the best are the best.

Such is the case with "Drawing Leads to Another Dimension 1995-2020," a new collection of works by Hiro Sugiyama, a designer, illustrator, art director, and artist with a wide range of activities.

Drawing Leads to Another Dimension 1995-2020
Format: A4 hardcover / 380 color pages, limited to 500 copies ¥8,000+TAX

This collection of previously unpublished drawings, drawn over a period of 25 years, from the artist's 20s to the present day . This time, 1,200 of the 2,000 works have been carefully selected for inclusion in the collection. Some of the works are in color, some in black and white, and a variety of styles in materials such as watercolor and ink.

This collection of works was crowdfunded through "Campfire" and the production process was made public. Since the amount of the project exceeded the goal, 60 pages were added to the book, making it a voluminous book of 380 pages in total.

The book of works will be on sale in advance at "Art & Design Store in Roppongi Hills A/D Gallery" on Friday, November 13, and will be on sale in regular sales at "Tsutaya" bookstores nationwide and "On Sunday's" in Watari-um Museum of Art in early December.

In addition, to celebrate the publication of the book, an art exhibition, "Drawing 1995-2020," will be held at the Roppongi Hills A/D Gallery, where the book will be sold in advance, from November 13 (Fri.) through December 6 (Sun.), 2012.

In addition to the approximately 150 original paintings from the collection, the exhibition will feature the new "Black Flower" series, which will be on display and for sale. Art lovers must check out the exhibition and sale of one-of-a-kind original artwork.
