In the skiing and trail running scene, the overwhelmingly reliable and popular manufacturer is <SALOMONSalomon is a leading athletic company in the world of mountaineering. Kilian Jornet, one of the strongest mountain athletes supported by Salomon, is working on a new project.
It is also called "Phantasm 24'.
The goal is to break the world record for the longest distance run by running the 400-meter track in Mundalen, Norway, for 24 hours, wearing Salomon's S/LAB Phantasm road racing shoes, which will be launched in the spring of 2021. The event will be held on November 21 and 22, with the time yet to be determined. The stadium where the race will be held will be closed to prevent infection, and the race will be held in a race format with top ultrarunners to make the record official.
The longest 24-hour race so far is 303.506 km, set by Greek ultrarunner Yannis Kouros in 1997! Will he be able to break this record and prove the performance of Salomon's road racing shoes? Expectations for the race and its development are only growing.
