Do you know the town of photography? Six leading photographers will hold a group exhibition in Higashikawa Town, Hokkaido.

In the central part of Hokkaido, there is a town that calls itself the "Capital of Photography Culture. Higashikawa Town declared itself the "City of Photography" in 1985.

Higashikawa is one of the few towns in the world that are committed to fostering and developing a photographic culture, such as the Higashikawa International Photography Festival and the "Photography Koshien" for high school students.

In Higashikawa, photographers active in the forefront of the fashion and art world have taken photographs of Higashikawa. The group exhibition "6STORIES - Photographers of Higashikawa" will be held from May 29 (Sat).

This project started in early summer of last year. The six participants are Osamu Yokonami, Masumi Ishida, Takako Noel, Kazuhiro Fujita, Yoshinori Mizutani, and Kotori Kawashima.

The photographer himself chose the subjects, and captured the magnificent nature of Higashikawa Town with the images of actress Kaho, model Keigo Okazaki, farmers, girls, and high school students, as well as other ordinary people.

6 STORIES - Photographers of Higashikawa" will be held at the Higashikawa Town Cultural Gallery from May 29 to June 22. The exhibition will be held at the Higashikawa-cho Cultural Gallery from Saturday, May 29 to Saturday, June 22.
