In January 2021, the company announced that all products in the iconic adidas Originals line will be switched to sustainable products made from recycled materials.

And now, a "sustainable Stan Smith" with a PRIMEGREEN upper made of 50% recycled material has been released, inspired by the green character owned by the Walt Disney Company.

In conjunction with the event, "adidas Originals Flagship Store Shinjuku" held a talk event "STAN SMITH SUSTAINABLE TALK SESSION". Celebrities from each session took the stage to talk about sustainable initiatives in the fashion and sneaker industries and the significance of creating a sustainable version of the brand's flagship model, the Stan Smith.

In addition, the adidas Originals Flagship Store Shinjuku will feature a photo booth where you can create your own Stan Smith shoe tongue logo based on the theme of "Declare your sustainable action". You can create your own Stan Smith icon with your own face.
