We hear about collaborations every day. To be honest, I'm a bit bored with all the similarities, but I was surprised by this big news. This is the first collaboration between Ray-Ban and Takuya Kimura! The new model to be released is a limited edition of Ray-Ban's original "Aviator" sunglasses.
Mr. Kimura has a strong desire behind this collaboration. I first saw the teardrop aviators worn by Tom Cruise in the movie "Top Gun" when I was a teenager, and I've been wearing them ever since," he says.
The special "Aviator" is made with Japanese craftsmanship, with a titanium frame characterized by its lightness and the use of light blue Evolve dimming lenses, a light blue color on purpose. It is easy to see eye movements and facial expressions while wearing it, and can be used indoors as well. The serial number and Mr. Kimura's handwritten initials on the temple ends are also not to be missed.

The limited models will go on sale on April 24 (Sat.). Ray-Ban Store SHIBUYA" and "Ray-Ban Official Online Store" will release 100 pieces each.
