Flagstaff, Tsurusenenen, and Spicy Gem. A pop-up event was held to coincide with the launch of the triple collaboration!

Collaborations are special. Perhaps it is for the purchaser, but also for the designers themselves, who work hand in hand with the stores and brands they have influenced.

That's what I thought of [Joon].Flagstuff (F-LAGSTUF-F)〈〈〈〈〈〈〈〈〉〉.Spicy gem〉, "Crane GardenThis is a limited-quantity triple-collaboration item created by the two companies.

HOUYHNHNM's well-known "Flagstaff," "Spicy Gem," which leads the scene with its original ceramic pots and plants, and "Tsurusenen-en," a cactus and succulent specialty store that has been in business for more than 90 years. This is a very rare combination of these three companies.

Ordinary clothes make me happy, but what has been created this time is a special handmade pot. These original pots are tailored with plants from around the world selected by "Tsurusen-en" and will be available exclusively at the pop-up event at "FourStore" in Nakameguro on Saturday, April 24.

The event will feature ceramic bowls hand painted by sculpture artist Masa Sculp, as well as apparel and goods created in collaboration with both brands. The designs are graphically unique to "Flagstaff".

Several years ago, I had a chance encounter with cacti and succulents that were full of character. The exotic and eccentric shapes had a strong impact on me.
As I collected, I came to enjoy the pleasure of matching plants with ceramic pots, and I felt as if the act of doing so had a similar appeal to that of coordinating fashion and audio equipment, both of which I enjoy. Like being addicted to a swamp, I became fascinated with the fun and fascination of coordinating plants and ceramic pots.
It was Tsurusen-en, located in downtown Tokyo, that got me hooked on such cacti and succulents.
We want to express the perfected form and shape of the plants we have encountered during our continuous visits to Tsurusen-en through our brand.
It was with this in mind that this collaboration was realized.
