Coffee Beans by Tiger Snake Coffee x Snow Peak. How does this dark blend taste with organic science?

Coffee culture has spread to the general public in a variety of styles, from old-fashioned coffee shops to major chain coffee shops, and even up-and-coming roasters in the third wave and beyond. Among these, Tora Hebi Coffee is secretly attracting attention in the new realm of coffee and science.

For those who don't know, the brand was started in 2020 by scientist and roaster Atsuto Imai. Using organic science and a unique method of using coffee beans that are 99.9 percent free of mold toxins in all of their blends, they offer flavorful coffee beans that are safe to drink.

The brand has teamed up with Snow Peak to launch "Snow Peak Blend," a coffee bean with the theme of "restoring humanity.

To elaborate on this theme, in this collaboration, chlorogenic acid extracted from substandard beans is absorbed into the beans to be roasted, successfully creating a coffee bean with high antioxidant properties, famous for its effects such as relieving fatigue. Furthermore, by extracting minerals from bentonite, known as edible soil, and clumping them into the beans, a dark blend that also contains the aroma of the earth is created.

The tiger-emblazoned packaging is also very well thought out, and we were surprised to learn that Daisuke Yokoyama, a designer at Sasquatchfabrix, who has long been associated with Tiger Snake Coffee, created the packaging.

Snow Peak Blend will be available at four Snow Peak stores nationwide from June 5. Coffee lovers will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to taste this one-of-a-kind product.
