TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance, a joint effort of an American and Japanese design team, will show us a new side of New Balance with a surprising product.
This time, we reinterpret the "574," which was created in the 1980s and has now become an iconic model of the brand. Named the "TDS 574," it combines a high level of design with the comfort of the latest technology.

This time, the upper design of the "574" is retained, while the rest of the shoe has been updated with a modern look.
The first thing that stands out is the absence of the familiar "N" logo on the side panel. In today's world where logos are so popular, this design, which goes against the trend, shows a certain confidence in the product itself.
The edge of the shoe features the koba detailing used in dress shoes. The horizontally protruding design, which is rarely seen in sneakers, is sure to give a fresh impression to those who see it.
The sole features a new shark sole developed in conjunction with the Vibram company. This bold detail not only accentuates the design, but also provides excellent slip resistance and cushioning for comfortable wear in all conditions.
It is available in two colors: white and navy. The former was inspired by the "TRACKSTER" released in the 1960s, and the navy was inspired by the second color of the "574" released in the 1980s.
The "TDS574," which fully demonstrates Tokyo Design Studio New Balance's design sense, will be available at the brand's official website, T-House New Balance, and other retailers from June 11 (Fri.).
