Exactly 50 years ago , the counterculture movement "Summer Of Love" took America by storm. It was a historic summer when hippies gathered in San Francisco and asserted their free will.
On the 50th anniversary of 1967, which had a profound impact on the subsequent formation of the culture, , theLEVI'S® VINTAGE CLOTHING . has reissued the "Crazy Legs," originally released in 1967.
The inspiration for the "Crazy Legs" design was, unsurprisingly, the American comedy show "Laugh-In. The "Crazy Legs" were inspired by the body paint of Goldie Hawn, who appeared on the show.
The distinctive five-pocket design has been retained, the flashers and tags have been faithfully reproduced, and the silhouette is based on the 1967 model 1960's PIKE, which is the same as the model of that time. The 11.5 oz. denim with canvas material successfully reproduces the look of the denim worn by hippies of the time.
