Their next step is a sustainable approach. The "Eco Theory" collection, which is now available for purchase, uses materials that minimize environmental impact and recreates long-loved masterpieces.
The lineup includes three models: Authentic, Slip-On, and Style 36 Decon SF.
AUTHENTIC SF ¥7,150 each
Authentic, the brand's roots, is available in two colors: black checkerboard and natural/double light gum. The old popular colors are back with a more sustainable look.
Every detail is environmentally conscious, from the upper to the laces, the footbed, and even the outsole, all of which are made of natural materials.
However, this does not change the classic look, and fans will be happy to know that the grip and durability of the skate shoes remain unchanged.
As shown in the image, the heel is foldable, so you can easily wear them like sandals.
SLIP-ON SF ¥7,150
The "Slip-On" is clad in the Chugger Flag pattern. The "Slip-On" can be easily slipped on and off, and, like the "Authentic", the heel can be folded down, further improving the comfort of the slip-on. Of course, sustainable materials are used here as well.
STYLE 36 DECON SF ¥8,250
The "Style 36 Decon SF" is a modern take on the silhouette. The upper has been redesigned for a more stylish look. The toe cap has been added for added durability.
The natural coloring of the upper and gum sole are also a good match. The finish is different from the usual "Style 36 Decon SF.
The "Eco Theory" collection is now available at Vans stores and ABC-MART and other retailers.
