Agnès BAY is a fashion designer who loves art and culture. Thirty-seven years ago, in the Les Halles district of Paris, she opened "Galeries du Jour," a boutique in a former butcher shop.

As the name suggests, this place is a gallery that features artists that Agnès Böhler likes, and has been actively introducing his favorite talents, both famous and unknown, such as Futura 2000, Katsuhiko Hibino, Nan Goldin, Martin Parr, Vincent Gallo, Harmony Korine, David Lynch...etc. . regardless of fame or obscurity, he actively introduces the talents he likes. He was quick to recognize the value of art, which used to belong to the rich, and spread its appeal to the masses.

Under the supervision of "Galerie du Jour," the "agnis b. Gallery Boutique" was established in Aoyama, Tokyo, in 2018. Located on the second floor of the agnis b. store one step inside from Kotto Dori, the space is currently hosting "PERSEVERANCE / Patience," a solo exhibition by French artist Le Modouldsere, a.k.a. Medy Sybille.

Zale has a unique background, having received no education in art and worked for a major PR firm before turning into an artist using the knowledge and skills he gained on the street. His black line drawings, which he has been creating since the early 2000s, look like unknown creatures and are somewhat reminiscent of characters from science fiction comic books. Agnès Bae came to know his work on the streets of Paris and began to pay attention to it.

Zehr's solo exhibition features 23 works, ranging from lithographs to drawings, including recently produced works that are being exhibited for the first time. In addition to drawings on wood and artificial marble, there are also works created at Idem Paris, the oldest lithograph atelier in Paris.

The "PERSEVERANCE" in the name of the solo exhibition was taken from "NASA's" exploration ship "PERSEVERANCE" that went to Mars this year, and the works also convey a sense of the exploration ship.
