Tap water (tap water) comes out when you turn on the tap.
We are grateful for their existence, but they are also so close to us that we are not usually aware of such things.
The new brand "TapWater" was launched with the aim of making the brand a familiar part of one's wardrobe.
Creative director Takayuki Minami and "NISHINOYA" director Daishi Nishino are in charge of the project.
The brand brings together "fodder from the wardrobe" that has been left lying around but cannot be thrown away, and re-edits it using modern materials and approaches.
In their debut season, the two men, who both have their own opinions on pants selection, chose two types of pants: military pants and chino pants. A truly elite few. They are masterpieces, to say the least.
Let's start with the introduction of military pants.
Based on the U.S. military utility pants for women, modified to be worn by men as well.
While utilizing the distinctive waist detail, the garment is designed with more buttons so that the size and silhouette can be adjusted as desired.
While maintaining the charm of the original, the beauty of the waist area is highlighted, and a sense of elegance coexists with the ruggedness unique to military wear.
Next is the 2-tuck chino, a typical American traditional style. While it is tempting to choose an oversized fit and cinch the waist, the waistband can look awkward. This piece solves such a problem by adding an elastic waistband and a drawcord.
Classic details such as two large front tucks and double-tailored hems are combined with a loose-fitting silhouette.
Tap Water," which comes out with a twist of the head instead of a faucet, has an everyday look, but behind it is the wisdom and ideas of two people.
The story of its birth will be told on Friday, July 2 at 7:00 p.m. in theHOUYHNHNM's YouTubeWe will send you a copy at Please stay tuned!
