UNIQLO's collaborations with prominent brands such as Engineered Garments, Mame Kurogouchi, and +J with Jil Sander are always exciting for clothes lovers. UNIQLO's collaborations always excite clothes lovers.

The next partner was White Mountaineering by Yosuke Aizawa.

UNIQLO has injected the essence of the outdoors that is typical of White Mountaineering into outerwear items that are essential for the coming season, including the fleece that is synonymous with UNIQLO.

In line with UNIQLO's "Made for all" concept, the collection includes nine models for men, women, and children, and is suitable for the whole family.

Hybrid Down Oversized Parka ¥12,900

Let's start with the men's items. The oversized mountain parka features "hybrid down," a combination of down and padding.

The iconic "White Mountaineering" double zipper on the chest and four large pockets on the front add just the right amount of edge to this universal silhouette.

There are two types of items using fleece: pullovers and jackets. The fleece is used as the base material, and woven fabrics are used in different parts of the garments to achieve both functionality and design.

The price of 5,000 yen for such a good product is as good as you would expect from UNIQLO. It's worth it to have one of these.

Quilted jackets are often seen around town, but this one uses lightweight ultra-light down, has a durable water repellent function to repel rainwater, and a pocketable design, all of which are the result of technology cultivated by both companies.

These two models are women's items. In addition to the same mountain parka as the men's version, a mock neck pullover with a design typical of "White Mountaineering" will be available.

While following the same design as the adult line, Aizawa's first children's wear features details that show his love for children, such as a structure around the neck that makes it easy to put on and take off, and a playful color scheme of blue and red.

Commenting on this collection, Yosuke Aizawa said

As a designer, I thought about how to apply the outdoor and sports details that I have cultivated at White Mountaineering to UNIQLO clothing that is worn by all people. My philosophy is to make clothes based on the premise that "people move," so I carefully considered patterns and designs that would not cause stress when worn, and I think I was able to propose a new type of everyday wear that can be worn on any occasion.

UNIQLO and White Mountaineering, which explores new possibilities for outerwear and fleece, will go on sale Friday, October 15.
