Just as my body was no longer shaken by a little collaboration, this news arrived.

Let us first unravel the first chapter, imagining the story that is about to be spun.

The star of the show was New Balance's innovative "RC ELITE" footwear, a performance shoe for racing and training.

Here's a little more about this model.

Back in 2017. The location was New Balance's Innovation Lab at its factory in the United States. This is where the development of the "FuelCell" series began. Based on performance data from world-class middle-distance track and field athletes, dozens of prototypes were created, testing new designs and materials, and the FuelCell foam, the brand's most resilient midsole material, was born.

The FuelCell RC ELITE was born in 2020 as a shoe that combines the bouncy running feel of the FuelCell series with a lightness suitable for full marathon races, a grip that grips the ground and accelerates running, and smooth landings.

Stone Island's technology and philosophy have been incorporated into this top-of-the-line shoe. The classic design elements of "New Balance" as represented by the "574" and the cutting-edge materials and technology with 3D mesh structure and 3D logo, these contradictory elements cohabitate and make up the upper.

The midsole is made of ultra-light FuelCell technology and carbon fiber plates, updated to the latest version. This allows for propulsive footwork and maximum energy return that is functional all the way to 360 degrees, allowing for high speeds over any distance.

In addition, as you can see from the photos, it is extremely thin and breathable. As it should be, it has a 3D knit upper with a lightweight midfoot construction with a racing-ready vamp (instep).

The inside and outside graphics, strategically rendered using 3D printing technology, feature the Flying NB logo on the right foot and the Stone Island compass logo on the left foot. The red logo sits proudly in a nuanced color that can't be described as either green or white, creating a blazing design. It's cool as hell, as if the two brands are competing against each other.
