Vans" has been collaborating with various artists as well as skaters. The next artist to be chosen is chandelier artist Kim Sung Hye.
Born in Tokyo as a third-generation zainichi Korean, she specializes in a technique called "junk collage" using stuffed animals, American toys, daruma dolls, beckoning cats, and rakes, and has provided her works, spatial displays, and product designs for domestic and international companies and brands.
Kim Sung Hye has prepared two collections for this occasion. One features fur and charms as points of interest, while the other is made of fabric printed with the woman's work.

These are the Slip-On and Sk8-Hi, both clad in Dalmatian-inspired fur. The gorgeous design is inspired by the stuffed animals and American toys that often appear in her work, and features glittering charms on the upper.
These are two challenging pairs with a completely different look and feel from the authentic "Slip-On" and "Sk8-Hi".
