Collaborations are now commonplace. This year, one of the most unexpected was the combination of "Coach" and "Champion. In order to bring you the full appeal of this collaboration, we enlisted the help of actor Keita Machida. In fact, this is the second time that Mr. Machida has appeared in HOUYHNHNM's.The last time was in 2017.Watching this shoot up close and personal, I felt like I had become very dignified compared to back then. Vintage Summit 9: Vintage clothing ramblings by some of the industry's leading eccentrics.

The Vintage Summit is a long interview. Including small talk and updates, we spent about five to six hours. The conversation goes off on a tangent (laughs), and about half of what we write about is actually in the article. The digressions are really interesting, but if I include them, the article would be ridiculously long, so I have to cut them out. 1LDK" always brings us fresh encounters whenever we visit. The staff members have good taste and are very pleasant, but behind the scenes they must be very busy. With this in mind, we asked them to skip work while we were shooting, reading manga, playing with their phones, and so on. But even the way they skipped work was clean and stylish. What is your impression of A.P.C. denim? Because everyone is familiar with A.P.S., I think the answer to this question will vary from person to person. The three stylists who participated in this project all had their own unique views of "A.P.C.". I asked them to create self-tailored looks for various models, and after watching them, I felt that the appeal of the brand lies in its classic style, but also in the depth of its openness to embrace any style. Oversized jeans are now the mainstream, and I personally think it is chic to wear A.P.C.'s slouchy denim.

While skateboarding as a sport attracted a lot of attention at this year's sports festival, it was Shinpei Ueno who stole the spotlight in the street skateboarding scene. As I mentioned in the lead article, he has designed for Supreme (probably the first time HOUYHNHNM's has written about this in the media!) ) and collaborated with "Gucci Shibuya Miyashita Park". The GORE-TEX coat by NANAMICA, which I also love to use, is high-spec, but it has the perfect amount of power to make you think otherwise. Popular last yearThe article was about MUJI, which is a brand that has been a leader in the fashion industry for many years. We visited three stores in one day, but the mood was relaxed and there was no sense of urgency. I did lose my wallet on the way there, but.... Champion, the king of sweatshirts, has a deep history and a simple design, and therefore needs no explanation. No, but that is why it is so interesting to see how ten different people interpret and wear it, regardless of their tastes, age, or gender. It is acceptable if it is saggy, dirty, or torn.
