Alden's classic penny loafer is now available in leather that matches the current mood.
The first pair is Alpine grain calf. It is a luxurious leather embossed with calf, which is also used for smooth leather.
As a living creature, the hides will always have scratches and wrinkles. The tanning process is intended to hide this. Alpine grained calf is a piece of calf that can be used without any make-up, so to the people in the industry, it is an intoxicating piece of calf.
The second pair is a dress calf dyed in burgundy, a color familiar to cordovan. Compared to cordovan, the masculine scent of burgundy is less intense, and together with the translucent antique-colored cuff, it gives a clean impression.
The VAN last, which is synonymous with penny loafers with the instep standing up vertically, and moccasins made of waxed horse tail hair, stitched stitch by stitch, are of course still in place.
It has a presence that does not look out of place with heavy coats and pants, yet exudes elegance when finished. Both are exquisitely balanced.
