Series "Aspiring Masterpieces" No. 277: Dries Van Noten's bomber jackets are in abundance for fall and winter.

This season, Dries Van Noten's bomber jackets are more substantial than usual.

One is printed with a floral motif. Velvet blended with viscose and silk is lustrous and rich in color. The drape is also very beautiful.

The other is a tie-dye print. The nuance of the tie-dye print, as well as the combination of the resilient polyester and ribbing, is irresistible.

The somewhat feminine touches are in the realm of Dries Van Noten, and each of them could be called an art piece, but this season I was drawn to one that was seemingly simpler than the above two pieces.

The padded nylon body, also used in women's couture, is truly constructed. You can see the glossy texture unique to the black nylon is overlaid on it. The soft curve from the shoulder to the sleeve is also worth mentioning. It is said that the essence of couture has been taken into account here as well.

This seemingly basic bomber jacket was created using couture techniques. One of the features of this jacket is the gathers on the inside of the arms. It has beautiful curves with a three-dimensional feel. JPY 202,400

This one is made of a nylon material with a moderate sheen and tie-dye print that looks like camouflage. Price: ¥170,500
