Now that functional shoes have become the standard, many of you may find that wearing leather shoes has become a chore. Of course, we all know that leather shoes are different, but once you experience the comfort of walking around all day without getting tired, it is hard to go back to the old shoes.
The brand "stglitz," which just started in 2021, proposes functional leather shoes. The designer, Masanobu Mori, moved to Berlin, Germany, in 2014 and worked for a shoe manufacturer that handles shoes for collection brands after being involved in shoe production under a master craftsman.

Two types of shoes based on the traditional Scottish ghillie shoe: the plain toe with outside shuttlecock and the ghillie shoe. The matte-textured cowhide upper is treated with a special water-resistant "rain cancel" coating, making them wearable even on rainy days. Although this coating is gradually lost, the shoes will gradually develop the texture of real leather as they age, and can be worn with great pleasure.
Micro stopper material in the cuff and an increased amount of foam sponge material produced from rubber to further improve cushioning. This provides a high sense of hold and a soft, comfortable fit.
In addition, by adopting a durable Kevlar cord and plastic parts that are also used in outdoor brands, etc., the shoelaces are specially designed only for this work to reduce stress on the shoelaces.
The outsole used is the High-GRIP sole by hexa4GRIP, a company that boasts high grip and durability. The grooves are not deep, so mud and stones are not likely to clog the sole, yet it still provides a firm grip even off-road.
