A.P.C.'s newest product is organic olive oil! Try it simply with bread.

A.P.C. is known for its simple and elegant designs, and the next new collection from the brand is no less simple and no-frills.

Olive oil [250ml] ¥3,024

It is an olive oil produced by the Moulin des Ombres Chateau de Montfranc in the Gard region. It is extracted from olive trees native to Tuscany, which are certified organic.

Found in the collections of the University of Agriculture and Technology in Florence, this olive oil comes from a variety called Tosca, whose trees were initially small and no one was interested in them. Despite its flavor, there was one aspect of its production that was difficult to achieve.

The designer, Jean Touitou, recommends toasting the bread "with just plain bread, toasted to the point where the ears are slightly charred. While it is still hot, drizzle a little olive oil and add a pinch of salt.

In other words, the simplest way to enjoy the food is to savor the flavor of the ingredients as they are.

The label was designed by Mathias Ogstiniak of M/M (Paris). He also designed a linen tea towel, inspired by the image of the olive industry and the statue in the park of Montfranc Castle, photographed by Jean Touitou, to be released at the same time.

The product will be available at A.P.C. stores from Friday, February 3.
