It was unveiled late last year,Collaboration between AVIREX and hip-hop label SUMMITThe "AVALANCHE'12" event was held in Tokyo, Japan. A leather stadium jacket paying homage to hip-hop was created and released exclusively at "AVALANCHE'12," a self-organized event of "Summit.
The long-awaited general sales will now begin on the respective e-commerce sites of Summit and Avilex.
The leather jacket from Avilex was once a favorite of hip-hop legends. This is an adaptation of such a historic item, with both names and the year of establishment engraved on the front patch, and graphics supervised by Tsune (Nozzle Graphics), who handles the artwork for "Summit," on the back. Super antique lamb leather was selected for the material, giving it a luxurious finish.
The hip-hop heads will be able to purchase the coveted piece online at Summit on Tuesday, February 7, and at Avilex stores and online starting Friday, February 10.
