Among the many Rimowa suitcases, the "Original Pilot" is a hidden masterpiece.
It was launched 29 years ago. As the name suggests, it was loved by pilots because it was just the right size to fit between the two seats in the cockpit of an airplane. Another reason for its popularity was the fact that the top lid opened wide, making it easy to take out the luggage.
Later, it became popular among DJs who carried records with them and businessmen who traveled abroad.
This time, a new model of such "Original Pilot" has been released.
The first thing I want to mention is the groove design body made of aluminum. It has a rugged appearance that reflects the aesthetics of Rimowa's classic "Original Suitcase Collection.

The interior has a padded compartment that fits a 16" laptop. It can also be removed and used as a briefcase. Additionally, there are two zippered pockets for batteries and chargers, and a vertical pocket for a small tumbler or folding umbrella.
The bag is also equipped with two TSA (Transportation Security Administration) approved locks. It can be used in a variety of situations, from short trips to daily commuting.
The bags will be available at Rimowa stores and on the Rimowa website starting February 23, and will also come with a set of original stickers inspired by the airline designs of the 1990s.
