WISM" and "TANAKA", both of which have been following the trend in Hui-Nam, have joined forces with the brand. Both of these brands and stores have been following the trends in HOUYHNHNM's, and now they have joined forces to release a gem of collaborative denim.
When I interviewed TANAKA in the past, the factory was just starting to produce this denim, and I was very moved to see the "piece" I saw at that time taking shape like this.

The special order this time comes in two types: double-knee painted pants and boot-cut pants. These items are a combination of TANAKA's inherent elegance and WISM's vigor.
Both fabrics are made by Kaihara, using a particular count and beating that conforms to the body.
The reason for the somewhat elegant finish despite the authentic vintage finish is the use of pure indigo color in the warp yarn, which is unmixed, and the item is made with a lot of time and effort with a dull, painted, and finely stained design based on bleached colors.
First of all, they are completely new work pants inspired by double-knee work pants, baker pants, etc.

The double knees and pockets are connected, an unlikely design feature, and the effectively placed rivets combine practicality and design.
The fit is a wide fit with a slightly wider hem than straight.

It has a moderate fit, with a twist in the leg pattern from the inner thighs outward to the sides so that it flows in the back.
They are beautifully balanced when viewed from the side, and the waist is slightly larger so that they can be worn at the waist, allowing for a variety of wearing styles.
Incidentally, the concept of this special order is "something that seems to have existed for a long time but has never existed before. This concept must be somewhat in line with the "Tanaka" brand concept of "clothes that weave together the past 100 years and the next 100 years.
In the beginning, I wrote that "TANAKA" is a classy store and "Wism" is a vigorous store, but in fact, "TANAKA" has an edgy punk spirit, while "Wism" is a store based on a delicate direction. In this sense, they are a good match for each other.
