Watches & Wonders Geneva 2023, the biggest event in the watch industry, is currently being held in Switzerland. Various brands are currently showing off their new products at the event, and here we would like to introduce the "Black Bay 54" from TUDOR's new models.
First of all, the Black Bay series was inspired by TUDOR's divers' watches from the 1950s, more than half a century ago. It is not a mere reissue, but rather a modern interpretation of the watch, while retaining a strong trace of its former self.
The Black Bay 54 is based on TUDOR's first diver's watch, Ref. 7922, which was introduced in 1954. At the time, professional divers, the French Navy and the U.S. Navy also adopted this historic watch.
The latest model inherits the DNA of this masterpiece and features a unidirectional rotating bezel, a sun-brushed satin-finished black dial, and snowflake hands coated with Super-LumiNova® luminescent paint, all of which are unique to the Black Bay.
The most notable feature is that the case diameter is 37 mm. While most divers' watches usually exceed 40 mm in diameter, this watch can easily fit on many people's arms.

"T-fit" steel bracelets with quick-adjust clasp allow for easy size adjustment. In addition, rubber straps are also available.
The Manufacture caliber MT 5400 on board is robust and durable, with a day difference of less than 6 seconds (minus 2 seconds, plus 4 seconds) put together. With a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, one can take this watch off on Friday night and put it back on Monday morning without having to rewind the mainspring.
