Toward a free and equal society. Dr. Martens is launching an LGBTQIA+ support collaboration model with three PRIDE artists.

As evidenced by the fact that they were loved by skins and punks in the past, "Dr. Martens" has supported the feet of those who express their individuality.

Of course, this is no different today. As some of you may know, Dr. Martens supports the LGBTQIA+ community and the worldwide PRIDE event, which raises awareness of their rights, in various ways.

And now, starting in April, we will be releasing one limited edition collaboration model each month with three PRIDE artists from around the world, the first of which will be released on Thursday, April 13, and features Japanese artist Yuki Kanaifu.

1460 FOR PRIDE (FUYUKI KANAI) 8-hole boots ¥31,900

This new work is based on the standard "8-hole boot". The upper is designed in the comic style that Mr. Kanai has been expressing in his zines, expressing a society in which diverse people can live equally and happily while cherishing their individuality. Furthermore, the message "FOR PRIDE" is emblazoned on the toe.

Using "manga," one of Japan's most popular cultural motifs, he has created an excellent pair of shoes that humorously expresses his own message.

Incidentally, the second release in May will be "Jaydon" by American artist LOVEIS WISE, and the third release in June will be "8 Hole Boots" by British artist WEDNESDAY HOLMES. Let's look forward to the release of these as well.

. and let's not forget the inline PRIDE collection. This collection was first released in 2018. Every year since then, we have always released a collection honoring PRIDE globally, expressing our will to support the LGBTQIA+ community through our shoes.

From the PRIDE collection, this year's "1460 FOR PRIDE Boots" will appear. Originally, the upper is black, but as the boots are worn in, scratches and wrinkles peel off the topcoat, revealing the rainbow colors of the underlying material. The design changes depending on the wearer, making these boots a true expression of individuality.

A children's version with rainbow-colored graphics on black hydro leather is also included in the lineup, making this a collection that can be enjoyed by all generations.

A society in which all people can live freely and equally. Dr. Martens will continue to advance until such a society becomes a society where people can live freely and equally.
