Tiffany & Co. is one of America's leading jewelers. The brand's products have the uncanny ability to enhance the personality of the wearer, even when worn with a casual outfit.
While stores in Japan are great if you want to get your hands on a piece, the NY flagship store is the fashion lover's dream, isn't it?
In fact, the NY main store has undergone a complete renovation and will reopen on Friday, April 28. This is the first time since 1940 when this store moved to Fifth Avenue in New York City.
The architectural design firm OMA New York, partnered by American architect Peter Marino and Japanese architect Shohei Shigematsu, was responsible for the major work.
The main floor is decorated with a ceiling designed to abstract the facets of a diamond. The floor is decorated with marquetry, which was designed in the same way as when the restaurant was first opened. This is the same design that was used when the restaurant first opened, and it is used on all floors.

The shape of the spiral staircase in the center of the store is inspired by the organic form created by Elsa Peretti, a designer famous for Tiffany's "Open Heart" and "Diamonds by the Yard™". Incidentally, the handrail is made of rock crystal.
In addition, approximately 40 works of art, including some never before exhibited, commissioned by Tiffany, will be displayed on 10 floors. The artists include Damien Hirst, Daniel Arsham, and Juarian Schnabel.
The building also features a café and museum. The building is filled with so many attentions and charms that there is really no end to them if they are explained in detail.
