The Esports scene is projected to be worth $1,866.2 million in 2025, or 247.2 billion Japanese yen. DreamHack Japan, the world's largest event of this scale, will be held at Makuhari Messe this weekend, May 13 (Sat.) and 14 (Sun.).

DreamHack, first held in Sweden in 1994, is one of the most traditional gaming events in Europe. Every year, the event offers a wide variety of content, including Esports, music, anime, talk shows, and hands-on exhibition booths, and is attended by a diverse range of gamers from core to casual. DreamHack Japan, which will be held this weekend, is the first event of its kind in the East Asian region, and is attracting a great deal of attention from gamers in Japan and abroad.

DreamHack Japan" will be packed with attractions such as exhibitions where you can watch top players battle it out, and live performances by "Creepy Nuts" and "Wednesday's Campanella". Of particular note is the "TOYOTA GAMING SPOT" booth, a collaborative project between "STARBASE" and "Toyota" called "Drive Your Teenage Dreams.

A familiar jet-black Hiace appeared at the venue. Once inside, visitors were able to experience the game on a specially installed monitor. The game being played was "Street Fighter 6," which is scheduled for release in June of this year!
